About

We listen, act, and transform

Hi, I’m Susan but I'm also human—one who’s spent time on both sides of the therapy room. I came to this work through my own life experiences and the transformative impact of therapy in my own life. At different points, I’ve had to navigate uncertainty, pain, and growth—and therapy provided a space to feel grounded, supported, and more fully myself. That experience not only shaped who I am, it inspired me to help others access that kind of meaningful change. I specialize in working with adults who are managing the many stressors of daily life—whether that’s career pressure, family dynamics, identity questions, or simply the weight of “keeping it all together.” I also work with couples who want to strengthen their connection, improve communication, or make big decisions about the future in a way that feels respectful and intentional. My approach is direct and practical. I’m not here to smile and nod while you spin in circles. I’ll be honest with you, ask the hard questions, and step into the storm with you—helping you face the tough stuff head-on. We’ll dig deep, get real, and build tools that actually work in your life. But I’ll always bring warmth, kindness, and deep compassion into the process. I believe real change happens when you feel safe enough to be fully yourself and supported enough to try something different. You won’t have to do it alone. If you’re ready for a space that’s grounded, real, and rooted in both honesty and care, I’d be honored to walk with you. For more, check out www.empoweredcounselingservices.net
